3. Profession

After Erdmann's sudden death in 1958 Robert Henry  took over his master class. In February 1971 he was appointed  to a full-time professorship  at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Hamburg, where he taught until his retirement in 1986.

Since then he has extended his CD recording and concert activities, particularly in the United States.
